The DADLAT advises and assists the ADL on all aspects of distributed learning with the goal of ensuring that DoD personnel have access to cost-effective, high quality education and training, tailored to needs, whenever and wherever required.
Membership
The participating members are senior representatives of DoD entities with interests in distributed learning. Membership consists of representatives from:
• Each of the Military Services (with Reserve Components)
• National Guard
• JFCOM
• Joint Forces Staff College
The DADLAT has at least two representatives from each Service. One representative is from a Military Service HQ who has input at the policy-level. A second member, from each Service, has a focus on implementation of ADL technologies and/or training development products.
Topics of interest to ADL and the DADLAT
• Serve as the Service focal point for distributed learning policy, practices, and procedures.
• Provide a forum for discussion and resolution of practical issues in ADL.
• Serve as a forum for discussion and resolution of policy and practical issues in ADL.
• Serve to promote Service collaboration on ADL.
• Recommend DoD, ADL, and research and development priorities.
• Assist in identifying metrics for evaluating ADL use.
• Promote the use of ADL in education and training programs.
