Accessibility Overview

ADLNet.gov is continuously improving the accessibility of the Web site.  Many features have been included that enhance the accessibility.  To achieve this, ADLNet.gov has been reviewed internally and is now asking the users with disabilities to review the site.  For questions, concerns or comments please e-mail them to the ADLNet Webmaster.

Accessibility Features

  • The use of JavaScript has been avoided when possible, because it can create poor usability.
  • Many of the highly watched videos have been transcribed and captioned.  They are available in the descriptions section.

Accessibility Issues

Many videos in the News & Events section have not been captioned due to the large amount of time and cost associated with this development. However, all videos that are published directly to a page are captioned and made accessible.
