The ADL Learning Technology Lab at the ADL Co-Lab Hub in Alexandria, Virginia maintains installations of content authoring, management, and delivery systems, including SCORM 2004-certified learning management systems (LMSs). ADL makes these systems available to the public for testing and information purposes. In this special, in-person session, you can visit the Learning Technology Lab and try out some of the popular LMS, LCMS, and authoring tools on the market. Plus, you’ll get a special one-hour presentation about how to pick an authoring tool and the ADL paper titled Choosing an Authoring Tool. Thursday, March 18 from 9:00 to 12:00 ADL Co-Lab 1901 N. In just a short period of time, you can try out first-hand what would otherwise take weeks to explore by talking to sales reps and downloading trial versions. While this is not specific “how-to” training, industry experts will be available to help lend perspective on features and offerings. Try a few – try them all!
