The Ministry of Defence of Romania’s “Carol l” National Defence University’s Advanced Distributed Learning Department is sponsoring the 5th Annual eLearning and Software for Education (eLCE) International Scientific Conference in Bucharest, Romania from April 9 – 10, 2009. The theme of the 2009 Conference is “eLearning 2.0 and Innovative Practices with eLearning.” Presentations and papers will address eLearning visions and theory, software developments and solutions, and eLearning educational case studies.

The ADL Initiative and the Ministry of Defence of Romania established an ADL International Partnership Lab in Bucharest, Romania in 2009 to foster collaboration on developing and delivering advanced technologies for education, training, and research. The Director of the Romania ADL International Partnership Lab is Professor Dr. Ion Roceanu. Dr. Robert Wisher, Director of the ADL Initiative, serves on the Scientific Committee supporting the eLCE Conference
