The 2nd Annual Forum on e-Learning Excellence will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on January 26 - 29, 2009. It is held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the UAE. The Forum focuses on four main elements related to planning and implementing e-learning: Inspire, Innovate, Initiate, Impact, and provides a venue to gain top management support in setting organizational strategies and policies for implementation of e-learning in the Middle East.
The 2009 Forum will bring together e-learning professionals, practitioners, researchers, and educators from around the world to discuss technical, pedagogical, and e-learning management issues in both academic and corporate environments. The Forum will also focus on social, psychological, and cultural considerations of special relevance to the Arab world, and on e-learning strategies for e-transformation of the Middle East.
