About
The ADL Training Evaluation Team provides consulting services to Department of Defense organizations for evaluating and improving the quality of Web-based training courses. The team’s research focuses on developing interventions for increasing motivation and learning in Web-based training, assessing the relationship between training evaluation criteria, and understanding self-regulatory processes. As part of the ADL initiative, the Training Evaluation Team collaborates on research with representatives from military and academic organizations.
The Training Evaluation Team is led by Dr. Traci Sitzmann, a research scientist who joined ADL in 2005. She completed her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Tulsa. In 2006, Katherine Ely and Kristina Bauer joined the Training Evaluation Team. Katherine Ely is a research fellow at ADL and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at George Mason University.
