Mobile Learning Workshop on 27 October 2011 – FULL

Did you miss our free August workshop on Mobile Learning because of Hurricane Irene? Don’t worry – we are offering it again. Our mobile learning team will host a FREE mLearning Workshop on Thursday, October 27 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (Eastern time) at the ADL Co-Lab in Alexandria, VA. Judy Brown, Mobile Learning Team Lead, and Jason Haag, Mobile Learning Analyst, will again be on hand to lead the workshop. They will provide you with a handy checklist of decision points so that you will be better prepared to successfully develop and implement an mLearning initiative.  Topics covered will include:

• Potential uses and opportunities with mobile learning
• Potential opportunities to solve some of your training needs
• Insights gained from success stories
• Potential development tools and opportunities
• A look at the future of mobile devices

Plan to attend if you are a novice- or intermediate-level practitioner in the Washington, D.C. area who has a basic knowledge of mobile learning and is ready to implement a first initiative or learn more about the possibilities. A participant at our August workshop, Mike Christoff from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, said “I thoroughly enjoyed the subject workshop and to be honest, I got a heck of a lot more out of it than I thought I would going in. Although we have not yet embraced mobile learning here in the DHS Acquisition Training Office, we definitely have a place to start thanks to your efforts.”
