New Education Data Announcement from Office of Science Technology Policy

The Office of Science Technology Policy released a statement on 19 January 2012 announcing several new public and private sector education initiatives, including the launch of data.gov/education as a central repository for education data resources. These programs join one of ADL’s key Search & Retrieval projects, the Learning Registry, as part of the broad Education Data Initiative. All are aimed at harnessing the power of open data from the Department of Education and other sources.
