Survey Report on the Mobile Learning Landscape within DoD

Earlier this year, the ADL Mobile Learning Team conducted a survey to investigate the current usage of mobile devices among its Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders. The survey also queried respondents about their attitudes and concerns regarding the use of mobile devices for mandatory training. Review the survey results (800KB, PDF) in the white paper  for insight into some of the challenges associated with deploying mobile learning. The results of this survey also helped drive the research behind an ADL study focused on the effectiveness of mobile delivery, which will be presented at I/ITSEC 2011 in Orlando, FL, 28 November  – December 1.
