SCORM®
SCORM integrates a set of related technical standards, specifications, and guidelines designed to meet SCORM’s high-level requirements—accessible, interoperable, durable, and reusable content and systems. SCORM content can be delivered to your learners via any SCORM-compliant Learning Management System (LMS) using the same version of SCORM.
ADL Registry
The ADL Registry provides access to searchable information in the form of metadata records that describe content objects to enable their discovery and reuse regardless of location or origin. Members of the DoD community of practice may register learning assets, technical documents, and SCORM content objects, through the ADL Registry to enable their discovery and reuse by other members of the community and, where permitted, the general public.
Immersive Technologies
Through a continual cycle of discovery, learning and dissemination, the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) endeavors to collaborate and share ideas, identify solutions, and realize innovations that will propel the Department of Defense (DoD) learning technology communities into new and exciting areas of immersive learning.
Training Evaluation
As part of its Training Evaluation activites, ADL conducts research examining ways to increase effectiveness and efficiencies of Web-based instruction. Additionally, Training Evaluation activities include analyzing learning management system (LMS) data to determine usage patterns and effectiveness metrics.
Learning Technology Lab

The ADL Learning Technology Lab at the ADL C-Lab Hub in Alexandria, Virginia maintains installations of SCORM 2004-certified content authoring, management, and delivery systems, including learning management systems (LMSs). These systems are available to be used by the public for testing and information purposes.
