iFEST 2022 Featured in Journal of Military Learning Conference Issue

April 05, 2023

The Journal of Military Learning released its special Conference Edition for 2023, which features papers from iFEST 2022 and the 2022 Army University Learning Symposium. This edition showcases ADL Initiative’s own Learning Team Lead and Test and Evaluation Manager, Dr. Dawn Riddle (SETA) and Director Dr. Laura Milham, who also serves as Senior Government Advisor to the iFEST Program Committee.

The publication of the conference edition with articles from two premier conferences on distributed learning was a fitting coda to iFEST 2022 which had “New Paradigm of Learning: Partner and Prevail” as its theme to highlight the value of working together to build the DoD’s new learning ecosystem. iFEST 2022 was held 16-18 August in Alexandria, VA and was sponsored by NTSA in collaboration with the ADL Initiative. The 2022 Army University Learning Symposium, sponsored by Army University, was held 19-21 July in Ft. Leavenworth, KS, and online with the theme, “Modernizing Military Learning.”

iFEST 2022 Conference Chair Keith Beurskens, D.M., was the editor-in-chief and Scotty Craig, Ph.D., was a guest co-editor of the conference issue. In addition, iFEST program committee members Jim Goodell, Sae Schatz, and Dina Kurzweil were authors.
