xAPI Profiles – Updates and Enhancements Sub-group

The ADL Initiative participates in this public working group from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Learning Technology Standards Committee (LTSC). Effective use of the Experience Application Programming Interface (xAPI) is highly dependent on xAPI profiles. The IEEE LTSC xAPI Profile Specification Working Group has created this sub-group to:

• Identify critical xAPI data processes and best practices for expressing profiles to reflect them

• Generate and prioritize specific use cases to be addressed via new or existing xAPI Profiles (and objects from existing profiles)

• Describe use cases and describe in detail using a pre-defined template

Meeting Schedule: Meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, 4PM ET.
